15No single witness shall be established against a man for any crime or for any sin, in any sin that he commits; only on the testimony of two witnesses or on the testimony of three witnesses shall a matter be established.16If a malicious witness rises against a man to accuse him of revolt,17then both men who are parties to the dispute shall stand before the LORD, before the priests and the judges who are serving in those days.18The judges shall investigate thoroughly, and if the witness who testified is a false witness who has accused his brother falsely,19then you shall do to him just as he had plotted to do to his brother, and you shall purge the evil from among you.20The rest shall hear and be afraid and shall never again do such an evil thing among you.21You shall not show pity: life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.
